The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half de belletrekkers were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgard Armentier was the one to do the kick off. Karel-Jan De Coninck's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Luis Selatse firmly grabbed it by the left post. Luis Selatse made an important save on a dangerous shot by George Van Impe in the 53rd minute.
