Andreas Möller had in the 23rdth minute some difficulties stopping Fabian Czeszejko's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 28 minutes of play, Olimpia HSB's Fabian Czeszejko made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andreas Möller was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 31st minute, Fabian Czeszejko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olimpia HSB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 33rd match minute, Olimpia HSB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calito Izquierdoz to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Seyit Bicanoğlu's late challenge caught a Olimpia HSB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Seyit Bicanoğlu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Olimpia HSB booed when The JOKER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. After 56 minutes The JOKER's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fernando Morientes who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Olimpia HSB's corner Fernando Morientes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Andreas Möller quite easily take care of the ball. Rodney Lindov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andreas Möller read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, The JOKER's goalkeeper Andreas Möller had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nikola Mirotić. With a little luck, The JOKER's Andreas Möller got control of the ball when Fabian Czeszejko tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 70th minute of the match Olimpia HSB got a corner. The JOKER's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fernando Morientes ran over to the corner to take the kick. Fernando Morientes made a great header on Olimpia HSB's corner, it was just that The JOKER's Andreas Möller managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Çağrı As in the 86th minute of play forced Olimpia HSB's goalkeeper Tolek Kiszkiel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the game, Çağrı As cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-7. Tolek Kiszkiel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Andreas Möller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacek Pietrowiak in the 92nd minute of the match. Calito Izquierdoz kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Curcio Borrero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute.
