In the 16th minute Tomas Levander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Llorienzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mateo Llorienzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Grover in the 17th minute of the match. Merengue FC's Mateo Llorienzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltazar Clavijo in the 18th minute of play. Yao Zhan Sang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Jago in the 59th minute of the match. Mateo Llorienzo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernando Grover's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Fernando Grover struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Mateo Llorienzo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borussia Dortmund. After a rather tough play, Merengue FC's Ismael Frances got a free kick in the 77th minute. Edelmiro Quintyn's late challenge caught a Borussia Dortmund's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edelmiro Quintyn helped the player get up and apologised. In the 80th minute there was a penalty for Borussia Dortmund. Yakup Sargut stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mateo Llorienzo. 0-2. Merengue FC's Mateo Llorienzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Grover in the 83rd minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Ismael Frances notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Borussia Dortmund's Yao Zhan Sang. Yao Zhan Sang was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Merengue FC booed when Borussia Dortmund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Astor Odol didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Borussia Dortmund supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Borussia Dortmund would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
