Garanhão do SUL's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Denílson Tepedino scored to the left of an out of position Ignatius Casasola, making the score, 2-0. Garanhão do SUL's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Denílson Tepedino scored to the left of an out of position Ignatius Casasola, making the score, 3-0. The referee ignored Garanhão do SUL's protests and gave Cassiano Telinhos a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of ADM Taquaras booed when Garanhão do SUL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cassiano Telinhos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute of the match Malcolm Westerberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ignatius Casasola showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 37 minutes into the match, ADM Taquaras's Denílson Tepedino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ignatius Casasola narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ignatius Casasola made an important save on a dangerous shot by Denílson Tepedino in the 43rd minute. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Denílson Tepedino took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Ignatius Casasola to make any attempt to save it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

In the 59th minute, Denílson Tepedino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ignatius Casasola was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Denílson Tepedino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ignatius Casasola having to make a save. Ignatius Casasola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denílson Tepedino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Denílson Tepedino put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ignatius Casasola. ADM Taquaras made a substitution. Maurinho Mendonça replaced Denílson Tepedino. Garanhão do SUL's Obafemi Fabiani was substituted for André Roriz. In the 76th minute, Áron Bódog ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ignatius Casasola was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Ignatius Casasola stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maurinho Mendonça's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute Áron Bódog shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignatius Casasola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Garanhão do SUL's goal looked a bit too open when Maurinho Mendonça came free, but Ignatius Casasola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nestor Soeiro scored 9-0 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ignatius Casasola, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 94 minutes into the match, Garanhão do SUL's goal looked a bit too open when Áron Bódog came free, but Ignatius Casasola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ignatius Casasola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Áron Bódog, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. ADM Taquaras's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
