In the 7th match minute, New England Minas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony Pacheco to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the match, River Plate ® 9-12's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Silva came free, but Rigoberto Bihar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, River Plate ® 9-12's Rigoberto Bihar got control of the ball when Tio Lio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jeremy Nicholas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fang Zhan Ao in the 15th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Muhammet Ökten got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jeremy Nicholas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 17 minutes, Muhammet Ökten made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antonio Valente during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th minute, one of New England Minas:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for New England Minas. In the 20th minute there was a penalty for River Plate ® 9-12. Placido Silvanito stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jeremy Nicholas. 0-2. Jeremy Nicholas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Placido Silvanito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeremy Nicholas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Silvanito in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Silva in the 29th minute of play forced River Plate ® 9-12's goalkeeper Rigoberto Bihar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 played minutes New England Minas got a freekick which was hit by Tony Pacheco. An unexpectedly hard shot by Placido Silvanito in the 34th minute of play forced New England Minas's goalkeeper Jeremy Nicholas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rigoberto Bihar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Silva in the 39th minute of the match. After the first half River Plate ® 9-12 were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Placido Silvanito made the kick off in the second half. New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save New England Minas from getting a goal against them. Rigoberto Bihar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tio Lio, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Rigoberto Bihar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgardo Silva's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Rigoberto Bihar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Pacheco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rigoberto Bihar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Silva in the 70th minute of the match. If Placido Silvanito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After taking down the ball on New England Minas's corner Glen Conklin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rigoberto Bihar quite easily take care of the ball. 87 minutes into the match, River Plate ® 9-12's goal looked a bit too open when Tio Lio came free, but Rigoberto Bihar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 95 played minutes River Plate ® 9-12 got a freekick which was hit by Fang Zhan Ao. In the 96th minute of the match Glen Conklin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rigoberto Bihar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched River Plate ® 9-12 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
