Egun Pais made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olaf Wieczorek in the 4th minute. Olaf Wieczorek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Egun Pais made a huge save. After 8 minutes, Andy Cole made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Várdomb's Marciano Marino tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Várdomb's goalkeeper Marciano Marino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 13 played minutes Várdomb got a freekick which was hit by Doriva Furlan. In the 14th minute Andy Cole shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Marino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Egun Pais made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Pape Lillo sent off a good shot on target. Andy Cole took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marciano Marino. Marciano Marino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Egun Pais made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Olaf Wieczorek sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Várdomb's Doriva Furlan got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Floresta Negra FC were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Várdomb's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lokon Pøhl took the corner. The corner led to Floresta Negra FC's Milen Kúlvachev getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Várdomb's goal looked a bit too open when Andy Cole came free, but Marciano Marino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andy Cole took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marciano Marino. Marciano Marino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 40th minute, Andy Cole got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Várdomb's goalkeeper Marciano Marino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Egun Pais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pape Lillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andy Cole stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Várdomb's goalkeeper Marciano Marino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 56thth minute of the game Imre Herceg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Floresta Negra FC's Egun Pais was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Andy Cole's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marciano Marino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute of the match Floresta Negra FC got a corner. Várdomb's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lokon Pøhl ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Lokon Pøhl got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marciano Marino quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pape Lillo in the 63rd minute of play forced Floresta Negra FC's goalkeeper Egun Pais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Floresta Negra FC's Andy Cole in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Várdomb's goalie prevented a goal. Floresta Negra FC's Egun Pais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Imre Herceg in the 70th minute of play. Floresta Negra FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lokon Pøhl in the 74th minute. After taking down the ball on Floresta Negra FC's corner Lokon Pøhl fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marciano Marino quite easily take care of the ball. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Várdomb's goalkeeper Marciano Marino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Egun Pais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olaf Wieczorek, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute, Floresta Negra FC's Jardel Lewandowski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marciano Marino. Marciano Marino yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Egun Pais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Balázs Szakál, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jardel Lewandowski in the 84th minute of play forced Várdomb's goalkeeper Marciano Marino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Floresta Negra FC's Jardel Lewandowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marciano Marino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Floresta Negra FC were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Várdomb's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lokon Pøhl took the corner. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jardel Lewandowski got free with Marciano Marino in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marciano Marino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jardel Lewandowski's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. 91 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Floresta Negra FC's Jardel Lewandowski fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Marciano Marino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jardel Lewandowski in the 93rd minute of play. Floresta Negra FC's Egun Pais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pape Lillo in the 94th minute of play. Harris Zoolingen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Marciano Marino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
