In the 12th minute, Gáspár Rigó hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rene Higuita made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Sílvio Luís Ceresso sent off a good shot on target. Valencia CF Mindszent's Rene Higuita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Valencia CF Mindszent from getting a goal against them. Valencia CF Mindszent were furious when Saltuk Peykan was red carded, 22 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Joacim First took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gábor Joó, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Holger Siöberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the game, Roberto Carlo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Pinhote FC's Loco Martin quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 32nd minute Sílvio Luís Ceresso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Higuita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute Gábor Joó shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joacim First saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Sílvio Luís Ceresso made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Valencia CF Mindszent's goal looked a bit too open when Holger Siöberg came free, but Rene Higuita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes in the game, Sílvio Luís Ceresso dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Konstantin Fitos got free with Joacim First in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joacim First was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Konstantin Fitos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Konstantin Fitos really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Konstantin Fitos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valencia CF Mindszent's supporters rose to their feet, but Konstantin Fitos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joacim First breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th minute of the match Valencia CF Mindszent got a corner. Valencia CF Mindszent's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
