Oliverio Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacob Albuquerque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hu Han Han made in the 22nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Mats Liljeström. When Jacob Albuquerque came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the La Candela FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacob Albuquerque couldn't finish the play. La Candela FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Gavino Gabino scored to the left of an out of position Jacobo Urdin, making the score, 1-0. 39 minutes into the game, Liu Liang Gang cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Oliverio Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 47 minutes, Dedê Donatello mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ and the La Candela FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of La Candela FC booed when ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dedê Donatello didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gavino Gabino made a kick off. Oliverio Kahn made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Jacob Albuquerque sent off a good shot on target. 71 minutes into the game, Gonzalo Soin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Candela FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ the free kick. La Candela FC's Laurenz Goddez was substituted for Gonzalo Soin. La Candela FC made a substitution. Daniel Borsos replaced Liu Liang Gang. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ made a substitution. Saturnino Romo replaced Gavino Gabino. La Candela FC's Damian Servando was substituted for Jacob Albuquerque. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Aldo Cresconio was substituted for Mats Liljeström. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Ezequiel Lavezzi was substituted for Benedito Camargo. Gonzalo Soin kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Jacobo Urdin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saturnino Romo in the 83rd minute of the match. Oliverio Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laurenz Goddez, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 89 minutes into the game, Damian Servando recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Oliverio Kahn. Damian Servando showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. With 92 minutes on the clock, Santo Millano commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for La Candela FC! Jacobo Urdin had in the 93rdth minute some difficulties stopping Saturnino Romo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.
