None of the them looked very eager to play. 梅响庭 started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Viteazul Flore got free with Mazinho Barreto in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eulalio Urbasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 梅响庭, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 13 minutes Stiinta-Univ.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was 梅响庭 who took care of the corner kick. Shi Ming Sheng's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mazinho Barreto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Shi Ming Sheng recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Stiinta-Univ.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Huly came free, but Eulalio Urbasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute Shi Ming Sheng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mazinho Barreto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience held their breath when 梅响庭 in the 29th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Eulalio Urbasa's left hand side. After having played for 39 minutes, Shi Ming Sheng managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stiinta-Univ.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Shi Ming Sheng was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Stiinta-Univ. booed when FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. 秦坚永 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Stiinta-Univ.'s goal looked a bit too open when 梅响庭 came free, but Eulalio Urbasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

A collision led to FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Jonathan Huly hit a great ball. Mazinho Barreto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomasz Gacek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, Stiinta-Univ.'s goal looked a bit too open when 梅响庭 came free, but Eulalio Urbasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diego Di Toma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Eulalio Urbasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's goal looked a bit too open when Aurel Panait came free, but Mazinho Barreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eulalio Urbasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 梅响庭 in the 68th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's goal looked a bit too open when Aurel Panait came free, but Mazinho Barreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mazinho Barreto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute of the match, Tomé Baptista tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eulalio Urbasa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Antoni Kachamakov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 97 played minutes Stiinta-Univ. got a freekick which was hit by Elari Jutt. Stiinta-Univ.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
