The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jimeno Abechuco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Parker Nuñez, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Parker Nuñez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jimeno Abechuco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anier Rocendo during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Momentum FC's Anier Rocendo got a free kick in the 13th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Parker Nuñez in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jimeno Abechuco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Momentum FC booed when Pituil FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desiderio Bernad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Desiderio Bernad made in the 22nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Momentum FC's Arni Urb. With a little luck, Momentum FC's Fabian Benvido got control of the ball when Radomir Dranka tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Momentum FC's Anier Rocendo got a free kick in the 29th minute. Pituil FC's Albert Yorke shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 31st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Fabian Benvido but with some difficulty. Fabian Benvido made an important save on a dangerous shot by Radomir Dranka in the 32nd minute. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pituil FC's goalkeeper Jimeno Abechuco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pituil FC's Jimeno Abechuco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Parker Nuñez in the 36th minute of play. Jimeno Abechuco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Parker Nuñez in the 40th minute of the match. Jimeno Abechuco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Parker Nuñez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nico Fanta was the one to do the kick off. Jimeno Abechuco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Parker Nuñez in the 52nd minute. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jimeno Abechuco firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jimeno Abechuco made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Parker Nuñez sent off a good shot on target. Parker Nuñez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Jimeno Abechuco made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Pituil FC's Albert Yorke got a free kick in the 77th minute. Momentum FC made a substitution. Dalmacio Lugo replaced Marcelo Pello. Momentum FC's Ignacio Baumer was substituted for Nico Fanta. Ignacio Baumer's late challenge caught a Pituil FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ignacio Baumer helped the player get up and apologised. Momentum FC's Fabian Benvido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radomir Dranka in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Harriet in the 95th minute of play forced Momentum FC's goalkeeper Fabian Benvido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Momentum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Radomir Dranka came free, but Fabian Benvido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Momentum FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Momentum FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
