Humberto Suazo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 7th playminute. In the 14th minute, Humberto Suazo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Humberto Suazo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arturo Boruc read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th match minute, Gortaty was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remigiusz Kaczynski to maneuver through the defense. When ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's Humberto Suazo in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 24 minutes of play, ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's Humberto Suazo made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arturo Boruc was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 27th minute, Humberto Suazo made a precise shot to the right of Arturo Boruc. Gortaty's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The supporters of ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ booed when Gortaty was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigiusz Kaczynski didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Augusto Araújo kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Humberto Suazo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Arturo Boruc made a huge save. In the 41st minute there was a penalty for ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ. Humberto Suazo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Arturo Boruc. 4-0. Arturo Boruc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Suazo in the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aleksander Bykowski to make the kick off. After 50 minutes, Aleksander Bykowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gortaty and the ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aleksander Bykowski hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. 53 minutes into the match, ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's goalkeeper Nicolas Britto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Czeslaw Skrzypiec. ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's Cody Miles was substituted for Luiz Eduardo Valadares. ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's Ranolfo Piedrahita was substituted for Humberto Suazo. After 58 minutes Gortaty's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was José Augusto Araújo who took care of the corner kick. Arturo Boruc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Petrosino, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Arturo Boruc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Petrosino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute of the match ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ got a corner. Gortaty's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. José Augusto Araújo ran over to the corner to take the kick. 67 minutes into the match, ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's José Augusto Araújo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arturo Boruc narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nicolas Britto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aleksander Bykowski's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. In the 70th minute Cody Miles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Boruc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Armando Petrosino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arturo Boruc was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's Ranolfo Piedrahita got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rubens Esteves struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Arturo Boruc didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ. In the 82nd minute Armando Petrosino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Boruc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 85 played minutes ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ got a freekick which was hit by Armando Petrosino. Ranolfo Piedrahita took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arturo Boruc. Arturo Boruc dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Arturo Boruc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ranolfo Piedrahita in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd minute Cody Miles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Boruc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cody Miles in the 94th minute of play forced Gortaty's goalkeeper Arturo Boruc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's Ranolfo Piedrahita looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
