Aris Giannopoulos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horia Tătaru's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Preator Edikt's Horia Tătaru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aris Giannopoulos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Cihan Kisačević had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan Pihlberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wladyslaw Miarka in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the match, FK TEPLICE STARS's goal looked a bit too open when Horia Tătaru came free, but Aris Giannopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute Horia Tătaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aris Giannopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute of the game Leonard Sjöberg made a throw-in which Zhao Le Yin played forward. Zhao Le Yin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Jan Pihlberg made a huge save. Aris Giannopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horia Tătaru in the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Horia Tătaru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Preator Edikt fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cihan Kisačević was the one to do the kick off. With a left leg Jan Pihlberg saved Preator Edikt from getting behind. Preator Edikt's Kenneth Björnberg managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Leonard Sjöberg in the 82 minute of the game. A collision led to Preator Edikt getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Michael Stor hit a great ball. Clemente Sindo made in the 88th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Preator Edikt's Ashley Cole. Stig-Ove Blomqvist who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Aris Giannopoulos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 89th minute, Clemente Sindo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aris Giannopoulos made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Stig-Ove Blomqvist sent off a good shot on target. After 93 minutes FK TEPLICE STARS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fryderyk Gorzkiewicz who took care of the corner kick. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Preator Edikt walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
