Despite this Edwin van der Sar quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zacharias Iosifakis in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edwin van der Sar saved Manchester United FC from getting behind. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Manchester United FC's Davide Beckham in the 58th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Genílson Loyola was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for A Veces Menos Es Mas through an amazing save. 61 minutes into the match, Manchester United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zacharias Iosifakis came free, but Edwin van der Sar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
