In the 6th minute Garry Mason shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wawrzyniec Charamut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. De Boedo Vengo's Wawrzyniec Charamut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garry Mason in the 8th minute of play. After having played for 10 minutes, Vicente Arano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De Boedo Vengo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vicente Arano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Los Colegas del Barrio's Garry Mason sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wawrzyniec Charamut narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paulo Victor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Arano in the 15th minute of play. After some careless play in the Los Colegas del Barrio defense, Vicente Arano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulo Victor. The Los Colegas del Barrio fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo Victor should have stopped the shot. In the 19th match minute, Los Colegas del Barrio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Nunez to maneuver through the defense. Paul Gheară blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulo Victor having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vicente Arano in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Victor saved Los Colegas del Barrio from getting behind. Paulo Victor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Arano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Zosimo Ibanez fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Colegas del Barrio's protests and gave Zosimo Ibanez a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of De Boedo Vengo booed when Los Colegas del Barrio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zosimo Ibanez didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gai Teruel in the 39th minute of play forced De Boedo Vengo's goalkeeper Wawrzyniec Charamut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Victor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Arano in the 42nd minute of play. Vicente Arano in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Paulo Victor, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Paulo Victor stood somewhat misplaced when Vicente Arano came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 44 minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Garry Mason to make the kick off. Los Colegas del Barrio's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cosme De Silva in the 53rd minute. Garry Mason's late challenge caught a De Boedo Vengo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Garry Mason helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Los Colegas del Barrio's Gai Teruel got a free kick in the 57th minute. If Vicente Arano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Los Colegas del Barrio made a substitution. Bitxintxo Etxeberria replaced Cosme De Silva. In the 63rd minute of the match De Boedo Vengo got a corner. Los Colegas del Barrio's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lisandro Roderigo ran over to the corner to take the kick. De Boedo Vengo's Lisandro Roderigo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Paulo Victor in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Paulo Victor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Arano in the 66th minute of the match. Paulo Victor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Arano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eutropio Harroyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, Vicente Arano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulo Victor was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Wawrzyniec Charamut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garry Mason in the 77th minute of the match. Garry Mason scored 4-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wawrzyniec Charamut, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 83rd minute, Garry Mason made a precise shot to the right of Wawrzyniec Charamut. De Boedo Vengo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. Wawrzyniec Charamut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eutropio Harroyo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Fotis Perivolakos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Los Colegas del Barrio's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
