Ricart Futebol Clube's Geovânio Gerber managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Kennet Mårtensson in the 3 minute of the game. After 6 played minutes Gnaget United FC got a freekick which was hit by Kennet Mårtensson. In the 18th minute, Abel Ramalho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carl Kling succeeded in the game's 21st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. 25 minutes into the game, Carl Kling cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Andres Ekhi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Carl Jonsson came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Gnaget United FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carl Jonsson couldn't finish the play. Ronnie Hellström came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ricart Futebol Clube's Abel Ramalho. But to his dismay, Abel Ramalho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Vlad Geamănu hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the match, Ricart Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Clóvis Cabral came free, but Andres Ekhi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute Abel Ramalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronnie Hellström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricart Futebol Clube's Eusebio Hori was substituted for Abel Ramalho. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Clóvis Cabral made a kick off. Ricart Futebol Clube's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Doron Bantz in the 68th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Gnaget United FC's goalkeeper Ronnie Hellström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eusebio Hori. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gnaget United FC's goalkeeper Ronnie Hellström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gnaget United FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Doron Bantz was slow to take the kick. During this time Ricart Futebol Clube's players had a chance to rest. In the 77th minute, Carl Kling ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andres Ekhi was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Gnaget United FC's Fabián de Brito was substituted for Ludvig Lund. The supporters of Gnaget United FC booed when Ricart Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anísio Fantini didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Ricart Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Reinaldo Palmeira hit a great ball. After 90 played minutes Eusebio Hori rounded Gnaget United FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-3. Ronnie Hellström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebio Hori, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ricart Futebol Clube players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
