The ball had pretty good speed, but Konrad Bubczyk firmly grabbed it by the left post. Nery Pumpido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roch Komornicki in the 12th minute of the match. Konrad Bubczyk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thierry Henry in the 18th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven-Edvin Jansson in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Konrad Bubczyk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nery Pumpido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roch Komornicki, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Konrad Bubczyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thierry Henry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, GuateFortín's Konrad Bubczyk threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sven-Edvin Jansson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 37 minutes Mattis Magic Team's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Angel Alvarenga who took care of the corner kick. When Mattis Magic Team's Roch Komornicki in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GuateFortín's goalie prevented a goal. GuateFortín's Nery Pumpido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Dandy in the 43rd minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roch Komornicki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mattis Magic Team's Tomas Björklund got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Konrad Bubczyk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zico Zellier's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Roch Komornicki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 95th minute, Tibor Horváth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sven-Edvin Jansson hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
