An unexpectedly hard shot by Abidin Camcı in the 42nd minute of play forced Stal Sanok's goalkeeper Sune Rudberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sezai Doğan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dragoş Antoniu in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
