Gerard Pique made in the 31st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Jeronimo Txatxu. A collision led to BuanaRaya getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Fermin Dolfo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cătălin Ostoici read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Basri İhtiyar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iago Romero in the 35th minute of play. Basri İhtiyar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grigoris Katsafanas, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. 46 minutes into the game, Angelo Zinni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BuanaRaya's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yalapa the free kick. With a little luck, BuanaRaya's Cătălin Ostoici got control of the ball when Fermin Dolfo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yalapa's Cristobal Isusko was substituted for Marcos Firmo. 68 minutes into the match, Yalapa's Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cătălin Ostoici narrowly saved just below the crossbar. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over BuanaRaya's much stronger midfield.
