With a little luck, Real Madrid's Esteban Beti got control of the ball when Adam Matt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adam Matt made a kick off. Flavio Öhri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Esteban Beti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dersim FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lukas Kathan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Real Madrid made a substitution. Zygmunt Burowski replaced Mateusz Heide. Dersim FC's Pirmin Demirci was substituted for Helmut Klein. Real Madrid's Gwidon Czeszyk was substituted for Beniamin Krzynowek. In the 70th minute Adam Matt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Beti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
