Dario Draxler might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Durval Guerra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dario Draxler ran back to his position shaking his head. Durval Guerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Koller in the 11th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Jan Koller ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Durval Guerra was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Icoara Football Club's goalkeeper Durval Guerra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 33 minutes into the game, Deportivo Ortegano's Jan Koller nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Durval Guerra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Délio Brodel hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute of the match Edmondo Melone sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Durval Guerra skillfully saved the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan Koller in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Durval Guerra saved Icoara Football Club from getting behind. Murilo Silveira hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After 46 played minutes Deportivo Ortegano got a freekick which was hit by Dario Draxler.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jan Koller to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Deportivo Ortegano getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Oinomoas Konstantatos hit a great ball. In the 54th minute, Dito Ramos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Icoara Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Nicasio Guipuzcoa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Durval Guerra made a huge save. Icoara Football Club's Durval Guerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orland Uceda in the 85th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Oinomoas Konstantatos took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Durval Guerra to make any attempt to save it. Délio Brodel kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match.
