AFC FUSION's Roberto Eztebe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save AFC FUSION from getting a goal against them. Roberto Eztebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Maria Píriz in the 14th minute of the match. AFC FUSION's Lino Rios got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amadeu Bessa got free with Roberto Eztebe in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jan Hop might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Niculae Ailenei. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jan Hop ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Guido Txindoki managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFC FUSION's supporters rose to their feet, but Guido Txindoki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niculae Ailenei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Lino Rios came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the AFC FUSION fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lino Rios couldn't finish the play. 30 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Maria Píriz came free, but Roberto Eztebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roberto Eztebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeu Bessa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AFC FUSION's Roberto Eztebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kunga King in the 36th minute of play. Lino Rios's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Niculae Ailenei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bazellatin F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dawid Beckham was slow to take the kick. During this time AFC FUSION's players had a chance to rest. With a little luck, AFC FUSION's Roberto Eztebe got control of the ball when Amadeu Bessa tried to sneak it across the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amadeu Bessa. Roberto Eztebe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael Maria Píriz in the 42nd minute. With his leg Roberto Eztebe managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when Bazellatin F.C.'s Kunga King fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kunga King stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Roberto Eztebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kunga King in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, AFC FUSION's Jonatan Maidana got a free kick in the 55th minute. Lino Rios who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Niculae Ailenei when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lino Rios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Niculae Ailenei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bazellatin F.C. made a substitution. Demis Poulkos replaced Lambros Giotas. If Demis Poulkos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Lino Rios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 83 minutes into the match, Bazellatin F.C.'s Kunga King sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roberto Eztebe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 84 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goal looked a bit too open when Kunga King came free, but Roberto Eztebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paul Vase hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute of the match Amadeu Bessa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roberto Eztebe showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. AFC FUSION's Roberto Eztebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Maria Píriz in the 91st minute of play. In the 96th minute Kunga King shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Eztebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
