The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pankracy Rasiak got free with Reko Nybacka in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 6th minute of the match, Dudu Freitas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Reko Nybacka saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 10 minutes into the match, Catugi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dudu Freitas came free, but Reko Nybacka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th match minute, LKS Wasik Lidzbark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pankracy Rasiak to maneuver through the defense. Catugi FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edson Couto in the 21st minute. Catugi FC's Fabiano Maranhense was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Filip Topolski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marian Duszenski in the 25th minute of play forced Catugi FC's goalkeeper Reko Nybacka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute Dudu Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reko Nybacka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabiano Maranhense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Filip Topolski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reko Nybacka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dudu Freitas in the 38th minute. Pankracy Rasiak hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match.

Benjamim Alvarenga kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Ziemowit Smolarek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ziemowit Smolarek struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Reko Nybacka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LKS Wasik Lidzbark. Carlos Alberto Soares struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Cyprian Cebula scored 2-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reko Nybacka, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Reko Nybacka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pankracy Rasiak in the 93rd minute of the match.
