In the 9th minute of the match GERLIROJO Ψ got a corner. Cachiyuyo EAS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nicolas Salomon ran over to the corner to take the kick. GERLIROJO Ψ's Nicolas Salomon was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Evaristo Velasco in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Evaristo Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Jax in the 11th minute of play. In the 11th minute Martin Jax shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Velasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Cachiyuyo EAS's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Jax came free, but Evaristo Velasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Jax had several of the Cachiyuyo EAS's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 13 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Evaristo Velasco as he didn't even see the shot coming. Nicolas Salomon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Evaristo Velasco made a huge save. 22 minutes into the match, Cachiyuyo EAS's goalkeeper Evaristo Velasco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicolas Salomon. After 40 minutes GERLIROJO Ψ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dito Sena who took care of the corner kick. 43 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Cachiyuyo EAS's Fabricio Rencio fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Fidel Argenis's late challenge caught a GERLIROJO Ψ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fidel Argenis helped the player get up and apologised. Fidel Argenis kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. GERLIROJO Ψ's Epifanio Ibañez was substituted for Martin Jax. GERLIROJO Ψ's Eleuterio Benvido was substituted for Arnout Van den Wyngaert. After 49 played minutes Cachiyuyo EAS got a freekick which was hit by Fidel Argenis. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Epifanio Ibañez made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Epifanio Ibañez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cachiyuyo EAS's Evaristo Velasco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Cachiyuyo EAS defense, Epifanio Ibañez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evaristo Velasco. The Cachiyuyo EAS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evaristo Velasco should have stopped the shot. GERLIROJO Ψ's Andres Lastur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save GERLIROJO Ψ from getting a goal against them.
