Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luiz Fábio Guimarães kicked off to start the match. Patrik De Roost fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venancio Cristofol having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Unidad de Matanza's goal looked a bit too open when Mihăiţă Stolniceanu came free, but Venancio Cristofol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20 played minutes Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely got a freekick which was hit by Mihăiţă Stolniceanu. If Nestor Bâru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lyle Coppack showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Bâru, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute, Jerrald Caldera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lyle Coppack came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Unidad de Matanza's Nestor Bâru. But to his dismay, Nestor Bâru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 33rd match minute, Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerrald Caldera to maneuver through the defense. Lyle Coppack didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nestor Bâru went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihăiţă Stolniceanu in the 39th minute of play forced Unidad de Matanza's goalkeeper Venancio Cristofol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Unidad de Matanza's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fábio Guimarães came free, but Venancio Cristofol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Unidad de Matanza were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Nestor Bâru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lyle Coppack read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Unidad de Matanza's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Waldemar Okopny in the 55th minute. Venancio Cristofol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ediberto de Queirós's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Lyle Coppack proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely from getting a goal against them. Unidad de Matanza's Maarten Aelbrecht was substituted for Yannick Bartz. Unidad de Matanza made a substitution. Michal Stehno replaced Nestor Bâru. Jerrald Caldera hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Lyle Coppack took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michal Stehno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the match, Unidad de Matanza's goal looked a bit too open when Mihăiţă Stolniceanu came free, but Venancio Cristofol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lyle Coppack showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Máximo Kirchner in the 68th minute of the match. In the 71st minute Ediberto de Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venancio Cristofol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Lyle Coppack got control of the ball when Michal Stehno tried to sneak it across the goal line. Venancio Cristofol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrián-Daniel Dobre, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 77 minutes into the game, Unidad de Matanza's Máximo Kirchner nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lyle Coppack made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely made a substitution. Lars Flinck replaced Edward Bartoszek. Michal Stehno took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lyle Coppack. Lyle Coppack dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Unidad de Matanza eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
