A nice corner shot did that Paulino Paião got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Camilo Salvidor quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Menchu FC's Gabriele Batistuta in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The corner led to Menchu FC's Gabriele Batistuta getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Mosqueteiros 4EVER's goalkeeper Hugo de Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Millano Almandoz to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Menchu FC got a freekick which was hit by Caetano Linhares. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mosqueteiros 4EVER's goalkeeper Hugo de Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 58th match minute, Mosqueteiros 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Álvaro Pirani to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Mosqueteiros 4EVER's Hugo de Amorim got control of the ball when Gabriele Batistuta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hugo de Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriele Batistuta in the 72nd minute. The supporters of Mosqueteiros 4EVER booed when Menchu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caetano Linhares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hugo de Amorim was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gabriele Batistuta showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 85 minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Millano Almandoz came free, but Camilo Salvidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriele Batistuta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugo de Amorim having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriele Batistuta in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo de Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Menchu FC made a substitution. Aristides Inge replaced Carlos Campelo. Menchu FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Abdoulay Doucouré in the 95th minute. The Menchu FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Menchu FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
