Julius Vanneste showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfredo Nuñez, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Godfredo Nuñez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julius Vanneste. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petras Anusauskas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 93 minutes into the match, Aureliano Negro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julius Vanneste. Limburg United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aureliano Negro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. When the match was over C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Limburg United throughout the match.
