The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. FC Kurdistan's Keefer Carragher managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Benigno Eder in the 6 minute of the game. 15 minutes into the match, FC Kurdistan's goal looked a bit too open when Lázaro Galsino came free, but Alaaddin Solskjær reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iwan Kasiewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Jorge Errando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lars Sundström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorge Errando read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. In the 24th minute Lars Sundström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Errando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lars Sundström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jorge Errando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Sundström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A sloppy throw-in by Benigno Eder in the 27th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Kurdistan's Yin Yun Fan. In the 28th minute Lars Sundström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Errando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lars Sundström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jorge Errando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Sundström, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Alaaddin Solskjær made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when David Lebon sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lars Sundström in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Errando prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lars Sundström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jorge Errando having to make a save. 37 minutes into the match, KIRICOCHO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Sundström came free, but Jorge Errando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, FC Kurdistan's goalkeeper Alaaddin Solskjær had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernesto Theodore. Lars Sundström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Kurdistan were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after KIRICOCHO FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Roberto-Carlos da Silva took the corner. The corner led FC Kurdistan's Roberto-Carlos da Silva to fire away a dangerous shot which Jorge Errando despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Galsino in the 51st minute of play forced FC Kurdistan's goalkeeper Alaaddin Solskjær to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Lars Sundström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jorge Errando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Sundström in the 52nd minute of play. In the 56th minute David Lebon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alaaddin Solskjær saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 58th minute by Iwan Kasiewski got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 60 minutes of play, FC Kurdistan's Lars Sundström made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jorge Errando was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC Kurdistan made a substitution. Lars Bammerman replaced Lars Sundström. FC Kurdistan's Jörgen Levander was substituted for Ubaldo Ritchie. Alaaddin Solskjær took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Galsino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute, Lars Bammerman made a precise shot to the right of Jorge Errando. KIRICOCHO FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The audience was convinced that Lars Bammerman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jorge Errando was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. When FC Kurdistan's Lars Bammerman, in the 72nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for FC Kurdistan. FC Kurdistan made a substitution. Nils Hopp replaced Roberto-Carlos da Silva. Lars Bammerman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Errando having to interfere. KIRICOCHO FC's Jorge Errando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save KIRICOCHO FC from getting a goal against them. Benigno Eder made in the 86th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Kurdistan's Nils Hopp. If Lars Bammerman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 90 minutes KIRICOCHO FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Yin Yun Fan who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Erhard Esbo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jorge Errando quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Lars Bammerman was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Kurdistan had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
