In the 13th minute of the match CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ got a corner. Kind of Blue's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Liviu Terzian ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 15th minute, Sebastian Käller got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 18 minutes of play, Kind of Blue's Sebastian Käller made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ludomil Ziomkowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kind of Blue made a substitution. Anastasios Pallini replaced Jonny Lagerberg. With a little luck, Kind of Blue's Wilhelm Galle got control of the ball when Afonso da Cunha tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 29 played minutes CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by David Brás. 30 minutes into the game, Sebastian Käller cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Ludomil Ziomkowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee felt a red card was in order, 41 minutes into the game, when Joel Barbosa put in a rough tackle. When the match had been going on for 44 minutes, CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Xande Campbell got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Afonso da Cunha made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Epifanio Aznar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54th minute Afonso da Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilhelm Galle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Kind of Blue's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso da Cunha came free, but Wilhelm Galle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afonso da Cunha couldn't finish the play.
