The player immediately received a yellow card. After 36 played minutes, İmişli's Bucad Abdulxälilov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Justin Guerrero came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in İmişli reached it. Justin Guerrero came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by İmişli's Ibrahim Färzäliyev. But to his dismay, Ibrahim Färzäliyev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 42 minutes into the match, İmişli's goal looked a bit too open when Aznaro Villafane came free, but Eyyub Häbibov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tome Izaguirre's late challenge caught a İmişli's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tome Izaguirre helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Bandujo's Tome Izaguirre got a free kick in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aznaro Villafane to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Aznaro Villafane's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eyyub Häbibov was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. When Gorosti Aguado fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bandujo's protests and gave Gorosti Aguado a yellow card for diving instead. 75 minutes into the game, one of Bandujo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. A collision led to İmişli getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Äziz Hüseynov hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Tome Izaguirre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eyyub Häbibov was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Tome Izaguirre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the İmişli defense, Aznaro Villafane kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eyyub Häbibov. The İmişli fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eyyub Häbibov should have stopped the shot. Soltanmäcid Babaşov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Justin Guerrero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
