Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilberto Peres in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nemanja Padović prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Turekovac's Nemanja Predojević got a free kick in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Quirino in the 33rd minute of play forced Turekovac's goalkeeper Nemanja Padović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Uglješa Međedović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 44 minutes, Uglješa Međedović managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Turekovac's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uglješa Međedović was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 46th minute, one of Turekovac:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Turekovac. The referee gave Neymar JR a penalty, 48 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Diogo Peres, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Turekovac's Nemanja Padović. 2-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Uglješa Međedović was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilberto Peres got free with Nemanja Padović in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 81st minute, Nemanja Predojević hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Neymar JR's goalkeeper Maurinho Esteves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Turekovac booed when Neymar JR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diogo Peres didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Turekovac fans cheered their team off the field, for while Neymar JR had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
