The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enrico Gandia during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Erciyes Spor booed when Bandujo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrico Gandia didn't get a good kick on the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Erciyes Spor's Dinç Yeğrek broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Zülfü Şahinhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Bandujo's Bilbo Alcalde got a free kick in the 17th minute. Zülfü Şahinhan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Justin Guerrero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Bandujo's Tome Izaguirre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Levent Şanver narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 22 minutes, Mehmet Ferit Doğulu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Erciyes Spor and the Bandujo players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Erciyes Spor getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Mehmet Ferit Doğulu hit a great ball. In the 24th minute Tome Izaguirre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Levent Şanver saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Aznaro Villafane came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Bandujo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aznaro Villafane couldn't finish the play. After 27 minutes, Bilbo Alcalde mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bandujo and the Erciyes Spor players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Bandujo getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Bilbo Alcalde hit a great ball. Justin Guerrero was a little too slow when Zülfü Şahinhan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 37th minute, Tome Izaguirre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aznaro Villafane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Bandujo booed when Erciyes Spor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vahit Yazgan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aznaro Villafane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Levent Şanver having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Bandujo's goalkeeper Justin Guerrero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hüsrev Bürgehan. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zülfü Şahinhan to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Inko Canturri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Justin Guerrero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ziya Onur Sezmen, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Tome Izaguirres short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Levent Şanver to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With his leg Levent Şanver managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Bandujo's Tome Izaguirre fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Bandujo's zone, Zülfü Şahinhan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justin Guerrero came out of the goal and Zülfü Şahinhan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bilbo Alcalde hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. If Tome Izaguirre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 76 played minutes, Bandujo's Gilberto Moya shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Levent Şanver came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bandujo reached it. Hüsrev Bürgehan struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Justin Guerrero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Erciyes Spor. If Hüsrev Bürgehan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Aznaro Villafane made a precise shot to the right of Levent Şanver. Erciyes Spor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Bandujo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
