In the 16thth minute of the game Hüsrev Bürgehan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Pazargik's Marin Badzhakov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Stoyko Chomakov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Pazargik's Marin Badzhakov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zülfü Şahinhan in the 20th minute of play. After having played for 23 minutes, Dinç Yeğrek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Erciyes Spor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dinç Yeğrek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hüsrev Bürgehan came free with the goalkeeper in the 27th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marin Badzhakov could save by the left post. 30 minutes into the game, Acar Yalçuk threw the ball into play from the sideline. FC Pazargik's Stoyko Chomakov quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zülfü Şahinhan in the 33rd minute of play forced FC Pazargik's goalkeeper Marin Badzhakov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the FC Pazargik defense, Hüsrev Bürgehan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marin Badzhakov. The FC Pazargik fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marin Badzhakov should have stopped the shot. 55 minutes into the match, Zülfü Şahinhan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marin Badzhakov. FC Pazargik's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zülfü Şahinhan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Marin Badzhakov came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Erciyes Spor's Hüsrev Bürgehan. But to his dismay, Hüsrev Bürgehan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Zülfü Şahinhan's late challenge caught a FC Pazargik's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zülfü Şahinhan helped the player get up and apologised. After 63 played minutes Erciyes Spor got a freekick which was hit by Zülfü Şahinhan. The Erciyes Spor fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Erciyes Spor's Hüsrev Bürgehan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 71 played minutes Erciyes Spor got a freekick which was hit by Ziya Onur Sezmen. Gancho Yatovski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Levent Şanver. Erciyes Spor's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 73rd minute Dochko Molevski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Levent Şanver saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marin Badzhakov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zülfü Şahinhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 77 minutes into the match, FC Pazargik's goal looked a bit too open when Yiğitcan Yesari came free, but Marin Badzhakov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Pazargik's Dochko Molevski got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zülfü Şahinhan scored 6-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marin Badzhakov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 92 minutes into the game, Erciyes Spor's Hüsrev Bürgehan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marin Badzhakov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. FC Pazargik's Marin Badzhakov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hüsrev Bürgehan in the 96th minute of play. A collision led to Erciyes Spor getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Vahit Yazgan hit a great ball. FC Pazargik's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
