The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Yu Kun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Okan Koc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tio Cosme FC's Yu Kun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Okan Koc in the 16th minute of play. Yu Kun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerzy Niedbalski in the 36th minute of play. After 40 played minutes ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐► got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Boniel. Maximino Romero took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cihan Zafer. ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐►'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 46th minute of the match ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐► got a corner. Tio Cosme FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anton Scheupach ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Anton Scheupach almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tio Cosme FC's Yu Kun did a great save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Yusuf Yazıcı made the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes, Jerzy Niedbalski made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Tio Cosme FC's Yu Kun tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After taking down the ball on ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐►'s corner Anton Scheupach fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Yu Kun quite easily take care of the ball. Henk Veerman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yu Kun having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henk Veerman in the 89th minute of play forced Tio Cosme FC's goalkeeper Yu Kun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximino Romero got free with Cihan Zafer in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tio Cosme FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
