Urtzi Megia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genaro Arbizu having to interfere. Basilio Munet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carolo Antoñana, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Pete Conde notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Atlético Bucaramanga's Genaro Arbizu. Genaro Arbizu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ongile Arainz scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Genaro Arbizu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Maurício Serna hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute, Rosalio Padolles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Basilio Munet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carolo Antoñana in the 34th minute of the match. Basilio Munet made an important save on a dangerous shot by John Duran in the 37th minute. In the 37th match minute, Atlético Municipal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oier Laincera to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the match, Urtzi Megia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Genaro Arbizu. Atlético Bucaramanga's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Urtzi Megia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3.

When Atlético Bucaramanga's John Duran in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atlético Municipal's goalie prevented a goal. 56 minutes into the game, Urtzi Megia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Genaro Arbizu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 59th match minute, Atlético Bucaramanga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arano Olazabala to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ongile Arainz in the 61st minute of play forced Atlético Bucaramanga's goalkeeper Genaro Arbizu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atlético Municipal's Basilio Munet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Duran in the 63rd minute of play. In the 68th minute, Gonzales Linde sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Atlético Municipal's Basilio Munet didn't even have to move. If Carolo Antoñana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Ongile Arainz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Genaro Arbizu. That made the score 0-6 in the 72 minute of play. In the 79th minute of the match, Ongile Arainz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Genaro Arbizu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 79 played minutes Atlético Bucaramanga got a freekick which was hit by Maurício Serna. Genaro Arbizu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Urtzi Megia in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute of the match, Urtzi Megia got a very nice opportunity to score, but Genaro Arbizu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 84 minutes into the game, Ongile Arainz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Genaro Arbizu. Ongile Arainz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. A collision led to Atlético Bucaramanga getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. John Duran hit a great ball. The supporters of Atlético Bucaramanga booed when Atlético Municipal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urtzi Megia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atlético Municipal's Basilio Munet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Precioso Corces in the 90th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ongile Arainz in the 92nd minute of play forced Atlético Bucaramanga's goalkeeper Genaro Arbizu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute, Atlético Municipal's Oier Laincera dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8.
