The audience thought a goal was coming when Donato Covillas got free with Eli Villalobos in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, AFC United's Honorato Zubillaga got a free kick in the 45th minute. Elija Andres kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florencio Antoniano made a kick off. Gilen Tejada hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for AFC United. 57 minutes into the match, GreenUnited's goal looked a bit too open when Hector-Luis Conllas came free, but Eli Villalobos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eli Villalobos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Hector-Luis Conllas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eli Villalobos was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. AFC United's Pedro Torrens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gartzen Pons in the 87th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Lalo Buenaga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eli Villalobos was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0.
