Mancio Arana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ponce Perero in the 28th minute of play. Belmiro Hoyuelos kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Ponce Perero made a precise shot to the right of Mancio Arana. Ajax Colombiano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ponce Perero in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mancio Arana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Ajax Colombiano's Cayetano Pujol got a free kick in the 36th minute. Mancio Arana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ponce Perero in the 37th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bautista Bausa to make the kick off. Hondo Linares hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Leones FC's Simon Maseda got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Mitxaut Matias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Leones FC's Xabel Oquerruri got a free kick in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Belmiro Hoyuelos in the 60th minute of play forced Leones FC's goalkeeper Hector Uranga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mancio Arana made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Ponce Perero sent off a good shot on target. Blanco Trabeso's late challenge caught a Leones FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Blanco Trabeso helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th match minute, Ajax Colombiano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blanco Trabeso to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Ajax Colombiano defense, Nicollao Ovies kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mancio Arana. The Ajax Colombiano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mancio Arana should have stopped the shot. Ajax Colombiano's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Ponce Perero scored to the left of an out of position Mancio Arana, making the score, 3-3. Guillelmus Tendiero hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Hector Uranga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matias Zuñiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Leones FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ajax Colombiano throughout the match.
