The referee gave Atlético a penalty, 33 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Iruinea Riero, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Conjunto Paisa's Mundo Paul. 4-0. In the 40th minute, Iratxo Bernabeytia made a precise shot to the right of Eliu Casado. Atlético's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iruinea Riero in the 45th minute of play forced Conjunto Paisa's goalkeeper Mundo Paul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.
