After 10 played minutes Majestic Club FC got a freekick which was hit by Manu Kanu. 14 minutes into the game, Dragones Celestes's Emilio Felipe Quintupran nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arsenio Pelayo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lin Chao Song in the 18th minute of play forced Majestic Club FC's goalkeeper Arsenio Pelayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Altay Dağdelen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Largacha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Briceño hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. When Dragones Celestes's Angelo Cuevas in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Majestic Club FC's goalie prevented a goal. Altay Dağdelen came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Majestic Club FC's Manu Kanu. But to his dismay, Manu Kanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 37 minutes into the match, Majestic Club FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sisebuto Frost came free, but Arsenio Pelayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Majestic Club FC's Arsenio Pelayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Felipe Quintupran in the 39th minute of play. The supporters of Dragones Celestes booed when Majestic Club FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tome Vizcaya didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelo Cuevas scored 1-2 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arsenio Pelayo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Cuevas in the 47th minute of play forced Majestic Club FC's goalkeeper Arsenio Pelayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arsenio Pelayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Cuevas in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Octavio Bras to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, Dragones Celestes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sisebuto Frost to maneuver through the defense. Manu Kanu might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Altay Dağdelen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manu Kanu ran back to his position shaking his head. With an all-out effort, Dragones Celestes's Arsenio Pelayo threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sisebuto Frost, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Manu Kanu took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Altay Dağdelen. Altay Dağdelen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 75th match minute, Dragones Celestes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Briceño to maneuver through the defense. Majestic Club FC's Pero Echart got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st minute Sisebuto Frost shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arsenio Pelayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Majestic Club FC booed when Dragones Celestes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sisebuto Frost didn't get a good kick on the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
