Luis-Miguel Camara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Jansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Tony Skarkman came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Strömsbro IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tony Skarkman couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Örjan Frisk in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sixten Ek saved Hammarby IF from getting behind. Sixten Ek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tony Skarkman in the 17th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Tony Skarkman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Sixten Ek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Tony Skarkman put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Sixten Ek. Tony Skarkman scored 0-4 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sixten Ek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 31 minutes, Tony Skarkman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Strömsbro IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tony Skarkman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Strömsbro IF's Luis-Miguel Camara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Johan Sundén in the 32nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karl-Johan Sundén in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luis-Miguel Camara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Tony Skarkman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Strömsbro IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Tony Skarkman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sixten Ek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Simon Kihlberg was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 38 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 38th minute of the game. One of Strömsbro IF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hammarby IF:s goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

An unexpected shot in the 62nd minute by Georg Ek got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 63 played minutes Strömsbro IF got a freekick which was hit by Georg Ek. 67 minutes into the match, Georg Ek dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sixten Ek, 0-7. 69 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's Arman Alegren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sixten Ek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erik Jansson during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Hammarby IF getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Erik Jansson hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the match, Georg Ek notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Hammarby IF's Sixten Ek. Sixten Ek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 76th minute, Örjan Frisk reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sixten Ek. The goal made the score 0-9. Sixten Ek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Georg Ek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Georg Ek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Hammarby IF's zone, Robert Falck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sixten Ek came out of the goal and Robert Falck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Strömsbro IF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
