Slipmaskinerna's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Filcho Slivkov ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Måns Sandberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Billy Ek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Måns Sandberg in the 11th minute of play. Norrlands Athen's Safet Hands played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig-Åke Bengtsson in the 13th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Peanut Lord cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Safet Hands was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Billy Ek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Lebron in the 21st minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Huang Fei Ting dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Billy Ek, 1-1. The tension between the Norrlands Athen and the Slipmaskinerna players grew even worse after the yellow card. Filcho Slivkov got his second yellow card in the match during the 46th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Slipmaskinerna booed when Norrlands Athen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filcho Slivkov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute of the match Benny Rüdiger sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Safet Hands skillfully saved the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Måns Sandberg to make the kick off. With a little luck, Norrlands Athen's Safet Hands got control of the ball when Peanut Lord tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Slipmaskinerna's Rami Funes Mori got a free kick in the 56th minute. Billy Ek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Huang Fei Ting in the 62nd minute of the match. Peanut Lord came free with the goalkeeper in the 63rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Safet Hands could save by the left post. Safet Hands was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 80thth minute of the game Gilbert Hermansson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Slipmaskinerna's Billy Ek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Gilbert Hermansson put it in 3-4 from a short distance just to the right of Billy Ek. After 85 minutes of play, Slipmaskinerna's Per Magnusson made it 3-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Safet Hands was left in no man's land by his defense there! Per Magnusson might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Safet Hands. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Per Magnusson ran back to his position shaking his head. Safet Hands made an important save on a dangerous shot by Per Magnusson in the 90th minute. Norrlands Athen's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Dumetochukwu Evaggellopoulos scored to the left of an out of position Safet Hands, making the score, 3-6. 97 minutes into the game, Calle Bergfelt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-6. Billy Ek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Slipmaskinerna were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Norrlands Athen's much stronger midfield.
