The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. DINAMO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Branco FC the free kick. After 5 played minutes DINAMO got a freekick which was hit by Ryszard Borcz. When Sotiris Vergos came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Branco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sotiris Vergos couldn't finish the play. In the 9th minute Ryszard Borcz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Iigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, DINAMO's goal looked a bit too open when Sotiris Vergos came free, but Ysmael Marfil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. DINAMO's Ysmael Marfil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sotiris Vergos in the 18th minute of play. Esteban Iigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remus Pinaichev, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. With an all-out effort, DINAMO's Esteban Iigo threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Claudio Cina, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After taking down the ball on Branco FC's corner Esteve Firman fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ysmael Marfil quite easily take care of the ball. After 38 minutes of play, Branco FC's Esteve Firman made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ysmael Marfil was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Sotiris Vergos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ysmael Marfil was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sotiris Vergos in the 44th minute of play forced DINAMO's goalkeeper Ysmael Marfil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claudio Cina to make the kick off. Henric Casas's late challenge caught a Branco FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 60th minute, Augustin Văduvescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Branco FC fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Branco FC's Sotiris Vergos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 65 played minutes DINAMO got a freekick which was hit by Henric Casas. Tomas Pampulov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ysmael Marfil had great luck who in the 68thth minute grab hold of the ball when Sotiris Vergos from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 69th minute Branco FC were awarded a corner. Tomas Pampulov went to the cornerflag to take it. Tomas Pampulov made a great header on Branco FC's corner, it was just that DINAMO's Ysmael Marfil managed to reach the ball for a save. Branco FC's Esteban Iigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Cina in the 71st minute of play. The supporters of DINAMO booed when Branco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Higinio Cordeara didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to DINAMO getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Moise Vlădean hit a great ball. Ysmael Marfil made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Sotiris Vergos sent off a good shot on target. Ysmael Marfil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sotiris Vergos in the 85th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Branco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ryszard Borcz came free, but Esteban Iigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the DINAMO defense, Sotiris Vergos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ysmael Marfil. The DINAMO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ysmael Marfil should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Branco FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
