Maurício Arósio's late challenge caught a Andırın SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maurício Arósio helped the player get up and apologised. Jenipapo SC:s David Seaman showed great skill when he stopped Naci Tansu:s penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Türkeş Uğuralp in the 15th minute of play forced Jenipapo SC's goalkeeper David Seaman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zhu Ao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aníbal Alagoano, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute.
