Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Emil Majtyka got the match started through his kick off. With a little luck, U21 Poland's Wit Bronkala got control of the ball when Rachid Borgès tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, U21 France's Wit Bronkala threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Quentin Charuel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Danny Pasquier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zachary Zerde in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute of the match U21 France got a corner. U21 Poland's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rachid Borgès ran over to the corner to take the kick. 22 minutes into the match, U21 France's goal looked a bit too open when Zachary Zerde came free, but Danny Pasquier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute, Quentin Charuel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wit Bronkala. The goal made the score 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as U21 France's Rachid Borgès slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wit Bronkala. That made the score 2-0 after 34 minutes of play. Rachid Borgès who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Wit Bronkala when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Danny Pasquier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zachary Zerde, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute Zachary Zerde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danny Pasquier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Quentin Charuel made a kick off. U21 France's Danny Pasquier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wawrzyniec Cipinski in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind U21 Poland's goalkeeper Wit Bronkala, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Martial Hess's late challenge caught a U21 Poland's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martial Hess helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th minute, Martial Hess hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. U21 Poland's Kasino Grositskiy was substituted for Bernard Trochowski. After a rather tough play, U21 France's Martial Hess got a free kick in the 61st minute. After 61 played minutes, U21 Poland's Adam Walkowski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Danny Pasquier came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in U21 Poland reached it. 64 minutes into the match, U21 Poland's goal looked a bit too open when Quentin Charuel came free, but Wit Bronkala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Adam Walkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Danny Pasquier made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Adam Walkowski sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to U21 France getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Danny Pasquier was a little too slow when Adam Walkowski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in U21 France's zone, Adam Walkowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danny Pasquier came out of the goal and Adam Walkowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
