After taking down the ball on Hertha 1969's corner Wilhelm Nienhaus fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bastien Bauer quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 7th minute of play forced paganese62's goalkeeper Bastien Bauer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bastien Bauer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilhelm Nienhaus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bastien Bauer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 22ndth minute of the game Wilhelm Nienhaus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but paganese62's Bastien Bauer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. He walked away shaking his head. The supporters of paganese62 booed when Hertha 1969 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moritz Hasenjäger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaston Schillinger blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rune Jarstein having to make a save. Bastien Bauer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 41st minute of the match. In the 44th minute, paganese62's Ewan Guez seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ewan Guez the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of paganese62 protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ewan Guez had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of paganese62:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hertha 1969:s goal.

The wind increased when Wilhelm Nienhaus made the kick off in the second half. When Zé Paulo da Silva came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Hertha 1969 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zé Paulo da Silva couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Hertha 1969's zone, Bryan Fouque stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rune Jarstein came out of the goal and Bryan Fouque tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. paganese62's Bastien Bauer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Paulo da Silva in the 61st minute of play. Wilhelm Nienhaus struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Bastien Bauer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hertha 1969. Thanks to some nice moves Zé Paulo da Silva could shoot a difficult shot in the 65th minute, which Bastien Bauer however easily saved by the left post. In the 69th of the match, Wilhelm Nienhaus tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Bastien Bauer got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 70th minute, Hertha 1969's Zé Paulo da Silva dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilhelm Nienhaus got free with Bastien Bauer in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hertha 1969's Rupert Heidingsfelder was substituted for Wilhelm Nienhaus. Rune Jarstein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Welsch in the 86th minute of the match. Bastien Bauer made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Rupert Heidingsfelder sent off a good shot on target. In the 92nd minute of the match, Rupert Heidingsfelder tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bastien Bauer saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, paganese62's Joffrey Coutanceau got a free kick in the 94th minute. Rupert Heidingsfelder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Hertha 1969 players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
