Todd Gronow might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnoldo Leicea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Todd Gronow ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Fabio Manuelo hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mecnun Seha in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abelardo Janpier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 11 minutes, Valentin Rydberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MarineerS MzC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valentin Rydberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Todd Gronow took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnoldo Leicea. Arnoldo Leicea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 18th minute Carl Rundell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Janpier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Todd Gronow blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnoldo Leicea having to make a save. John Antolin made in the 26th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Fabio Manuelo. In the 30th minute Valentin Rydberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Janpier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnoldo Leicea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Todd Gronow's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Todd Gronow in the 35th minute of play forced MarineerS MzC's goalkeeper Arnoldo Leicea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Abelardo Janpier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Armando Santirso in the 37th minute of play. In the 41stth minute of the game Valentin Rydberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Abelardo Janpier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the last second Arnoldo Leicea throw himself and got hold of the ball when Todd Gronow in the 46thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Todd Gronow stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valentin Rydberg got free with Abelardo Janpier in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valentin Rydberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Abelardo Janpier came out and tried to block the shot, but Valentin Rydberg slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 55th minute. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Enzo Cope in the 59th minute. When Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Todd Gronow in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MarineerS MzC's goalie prevented a goal. After 67 minutes, Todd Gronow made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. MarineerS MzC's Arnoldo Leicea tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. MarineerS MzC's Serafino Modestio was substituted for Dinç Tuncay. In the 71st minute, Ziemowit Chowaniec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC made a substitution. Andreas Harlén replaced Fabio Manuelo. MarineerS MzC made a substitution. Nereo Inge replaced Mecnun Seha. A collision led to Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Ziemowit Chowaniec hit a great ball. After 75 minutes, Mariusz Ratulowski made it 4-2 with a short kick to the right side. MarineerS MzC's Arnoldo Leicea tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 79 minutes into the match, MarineerS MzC's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Harlén came free, but Arnoldo Leicea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the MarineerS MzC defense, Mariusz Ratulowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnoldo Leicea. The MarineerS MzC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnoldo Leicea should have stopped the shot. In the 84th minute, Mariusz Ratulowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnoldo Leicea was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2. Diego Armando Santirso struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Abelardo Janpier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MarineerS MzC. Arnoldo Leicea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariusz Ratulowski in the 92nd minute of play. MarineerS MzC's Arnoldo Leicea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariusz Ratulowski in the 94th minute of play.
