Tomasz Galus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anacleto Mascayano in the 3rd minute of play. Tomasz Galus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joe Uytterhaegen in the 4th minute of the match. RED STAR FC.'s Tomasz Galus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joe Uytterhaegen in the 4th minute of play. Tomasz Galus came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Ovalle City's Anacleto Mascayano. But to his dismay, Anacleto Mascayano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 11th minute of the match, Gonzalo Benavente tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pawel Siedlecki saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When RED STAR FC.'s Gonzalo Benavente in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ovalle City's goalie prevented a goal. 12 minutes into the match, Ovalle City's goalkeeper Pawel Siedlecki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriel Eguntsenti. In the 14th minute, Joe Uytterhaegen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomasz Galus was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Joe Uytterhaegen struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Tomasz Galus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ovalle City. Daniel Martel hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute Ronald Hess shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pawel Siedlecki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Faruk Nafiz Cezar hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Lapurdi Boix came free with the goalkeeper in the 23rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Pawel Siedlecki could save by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lapurdi Boix got free with Pawel Siedlecki in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Joe Uytterhaegen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anacleto Mascayano's late challenge caught a RED STAR FC.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anacleto Mascayano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th match minute, Ovalle City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anacleto Mascayano to maneuver through the defense. Gonzalo Benavente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With his leg Pawel Siedlecki managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when RED STAR FC.'s Lapurdi Boix fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 43 minutes, Anacleto Mascayano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ovalle City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anacleto Mascayano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lapurdi Boix didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-2 via right post in the game's 46th minute. RED STAR FC.'s supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! The RED STAR FC. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ovalle City were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Gonzalo Benavente made the kick off in the second half. Tomasz Galus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joe Uytterhaegen, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Gonzalo Benavente succeeded in the game's 55th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. Gonzalo Benavente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Pawel Siedlecki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Ovalle City's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzalo Benavente came free, but Pawel Siedlecki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Anacleto Mascayano made a precise shot to the right of Tomasz Galus. RED STAR FC.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Ovalle City's Anacleto Mascayano got his second yellow card of the match in the 71st minute. The referee ordered Anacleto Mascayano off the ground. The supporters of RED STAR FC. booed when Ovalle City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anacleto Mascayano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Ovalle City's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzalo Benavente came free, but Pawel Siedlecki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. RED STAR FC.'s Tomasz Galus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save RED STAR FC. from getting a goal against them. In the 77th minute, Faruk Nafiz Cezar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pawel Siedlecki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lapurdi Boix's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Joe Uytterhaegen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Tomasz Galus made a huge save. 91 minutes into the match, Ovalle City's goal looked a bit too open when Lapurdi Boix came free, but Pawel Siedlecki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 92 played minutes Ovalle City got a freekick which was hit by Quintén Arciego. Ovalle City's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Osman Ayvazoğlu in the 97th minute. The Ovalle City supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ovalle City would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
