The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sixto Luke showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Candido Hendrickx kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Konrad Bubczyk. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. If Cristian Jenaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sixto Luke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roch Komornicki in the 15th minute of play. 18 minutes in the game Janusz Czerwinski did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Leonard Maciejewski. 19 minutes into the match, Mattis Magic Team's goalkeeper Konrad Bubczyk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Candido Hendrickx. 21 minutes into the match, Ronny Skytt notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Pilar FC's Sixto Luke. Sixto Luke was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 28th minute, Candido Hendrickx got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 37th minute Ronny Skytt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixto Luke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute, Candido Hendrickx reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Konrad Bubczyk. The goal made the score 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Candido Hendrickx kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Konrad Bubczyk. That made the score 3-1 in the 48 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Candido Hendrickx stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Candido Hendrickx struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Konrad Bubczyk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pilar FC. Pilar FC made a substitution. The Pilar FC fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when Pilar FC's Luca Langoni looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Many of Mattis Magic Team's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Mattis Magic Team may have spent more time on the ball, but Pilar FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
