The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Deportivo Balvanera's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Rednic came free, but Teodosio Urtats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Călin Boteanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Fliz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sever Colin during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 13th minute Rene Restu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Călin Boteanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remus Șerbulea kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emanuel Ardeleanu during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, DINAMO's Emanuel Ardeleanu got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 20th minute, Rene Restu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Călin Boteanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 24th match minute, Deportivo Balvanera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teo Oinatz to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the match, Deportivo Balvanera's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Rednic came free, but Teodosio Urtats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Călin Boteanu made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Rene Restu sent off a good shot on target. Călin Boteanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rene Restu's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Rene Restu succeeded in the game's 36th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. 41 minutes into the game, Deportivo Balvanera's Omar Fliz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Călin Boteanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 46th minute, Rene Restu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Balvanera fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adam Rednic to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to DINAMO getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Remus Șerbulea hit a great ball. Călin Boteanu came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Balvanera's Rene Restu. But to his dismay, Rene Restu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 61st match minute, Deportivo Balvanera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Costas to maneuver through the defense. Deportivo Balvanera made a substitution. Agustin Almendra replaced Ramiro Quin. After 63 played minutes DINAMO got a freekick which was hit by Adam Rednic. Santiago Sosa scored 6-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Călin Boteanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Deportivo Balvanera's Romeo Gaztea was substituted for Ernesto Argoitz. Călin Boteanu didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Deportivo Balvanera's Rene Restu shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 7-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Călin Boteanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustin Almendra in the 78th minute of play. After having played for 97 minutes, Omar Fliz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Balvanera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Omar Fliz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Deportivo Balvanera's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
