Rene Sayvion kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Luganeros AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastián Cebreiro came free, but Gabriel Porfiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 42 minutes into the game, when Osvaldinho Arce put in a rough tackle. In the 42nd minute, one of Luganeros AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Luganeros AFC. Luganeros AFC:s Gabriel Porfiro showed great skill when he stopped Americo Abarca:s penalty. Luganeros AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Sebastián Cebreiro scored to the left of an out of position Gabriel Porfiro, making the score, 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ricardo Oinaz was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Luganeros AFC defense, Sebastián Cebreiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Porfiro. The Luganeros AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Porfiro should have stopped the shot. Ramiro FC made a substitution. Sertaç Efe replaced Aca Peroba. Ramiro FC's Angelino Leobardo was substituted for Gervasio Locaio. 91 minutes into the game, Ramiro FC's Oliver Bierhoff nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gabriel Porfiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1.
