Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Habil Castolo kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Muharrem Sebih in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vinicio Aires saved the xeneise dream team from getting behind. In the 4th minute Gençlerbirliği were awarded a corner. Kristen Michálek went to the cornerflag to take it. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Bento Aleixo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gençlerbirliği's supporters rose to their feet, but Bento Aleixo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vinicio Aires breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gençlerbirliği's Marcelino Lacalle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Eutor in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute of the match the xeneise dream team got a corner. Gençlerbirliği's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zacharias Siatzis ran over to the corner to take the kick. Marcelino Lacalle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paolo Eutor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute of the match, Habil Castolo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcelino Lacalle saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 27 minutes into the match, Gençlerbirliği's Muharrem Sebih sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vinicio Aires narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Muharrem Sebih stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, the xeneise dream team's Vinicio Aires got control of the ball when Constantijn Airpoel tried to sneak it across the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Gençlerbirliği's goal looked a bit too open when Nereo Roldanillo came free, but Marcelino Lacalle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bento Aleixo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Vinicio Aires made a huge save. 69 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Cordero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marcelino Lacalle was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
